An unemployed cousin drops by a relative's house and discover their toddler niece seemingly random blabbering are accurate prediction of stocks or lottery or business trends. Years after the cousin becomes an uncle who sent his niece to college and explains to her how she helped him back then.
A strange tree appeared in the middle of an ancient graveyard. Folks worshipped it because of its strange shape but found that the next day the tree would look like the last person who worshipped it. The tree got framed for sucking the spirits out of worshipper, our main character attempts to save the tree.
An ancient poet got drugged and hallucinated, believing that s/he experienced a future where s/he got famous. The poet abandons his family's farm, stopped crafting toys for the children and only focused on writing the literature s/he saw but took so long making corrections that the family abandoned him/her. The poet died before real fame, the family got praised for producing a talented scholar but they'd rather have him/her alive and well.
The protagonist must gift anyone at least one gift a day. Not gifting for one day causes dizziness, two days causes them to faint, three days causes misfortune and bleeding, if it goes on for a week it's likely they'll die. The sibling is very stingy and wants the protagonist to stop gifting. The co-worker almost accidentally killed the protagonist when they keep repaying kindness, rendering the gifting a favor instead.
The cat and dog of a college student laments over the mysterious disappearance of their human companion. They had noticed how other humans in the house acts different from usual, pointing camera at them at random intervals. Suspicious that they are going to be sold they decided to keep their owner from leaving when they return for winter break. (a part2 for summer break works too)
Mysterious writing on an old whiteboard in the closet causes older sibling to believe a supernatural phenomenon is happening in the house. The only "supernatural" cause of it all is actually the younger sibling that wanted to play. The parents wonder if they should clarify since they don't know if their elder child is actually playing along or not, or watch on since its oddly amusing.
You know how birds fly into windows? Lets have a beauty-loving bird and a ornate window story from the bird's perspective. From the first moment of seeing a window, seeing the pretty bird on the other side, having a friend and eventually discovering its a reflection, losing a friend. Then gaining actual new friends by introducing the window to them and playing together.
Write a rant on the slightly annoying thing, a squeaky step on the stairs, the imperfect wall-paint, the pillow making it impossible to sleep or the weird taste in the soup. Then write a companion piece from the perspective of someone who knows the ranter well. Summoning their patience they slowly explain that the ranter is just sick from overworking and the subject of complaint has been like that since forever and politely asking the ranter to get some sleep already.
